Vaden Automotive is hiring Technician Apprentices to join our service team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in building a long-term career in the automotive industry and wants to learn from experienced technicians in a professional, hands-on environment.
Whether you’re just getting started, recently completed technical school, or have some hands-on automotive experience, we’ll provide the training and mentorship to help you develop your skills and progress toward becoming a Certified Technician.
What You’ll Do
- Assist experienced technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Learn proper diagnostic, repair, and service procedures through hands-on training
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs as your skills develop
- Assist with tire, brake, suspension, and other mechanical services
- Properly document work performed on repair orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Participate in manufacturer and in-house training programs
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and standards
What We’re Looking For
- Interest in building a career as an automotive technician
- Automotive experience or technical school training preferred, but not required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable, motivated, and eager to develop new skills
- Ability to work well with experienced technicians and as part of a team
- Professional attitude and commitment to quality work
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet dealership employment requirements
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed
