Vacuum Truck Rentals, LLC, is one of the largest vacuum truck rental companies in the U.S. with a fleet of more than 1000 pieces of equipment and 19 locations nationwide. With a strong emphasis on the customer experience and a 24/7 service guarantee, we are seeking an experienced full-time Equipment Repair Technician in our Gonzales, LA office.
Key Job Functions:
- Diagnose and repair vacuum trucks, tankers, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Work with diesel engines, pumps, and vacuum systems
- Process work order requests including parts orders and requests
- Other duties as assigned
Occasional travel required.
Hourly pay based on experience.

CDL License (Preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:
- CDL preferred. If a candidate does not have a CDL upon hiring, Vacuum Truck Rentals will facilitate this training.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and read schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience as a diesel or heavy truck mechanic
- Vacuum truck repair experience a plus - willing to train the right candidate.
- Candidates must provide all hand tools up to 1 and ½ inch along with ancillary tools to do diesel repair. Specialty and oversized tools provided.
- Certified Diesel Mechanics preferred.
