SUMMARY:
Maintaining production equipment in a highly precise manufacturing environment. This position entails accomplishing all preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and installations on a variety of vacuum, temperature control and exhaust management systems. Maintaining and replacing equipment, tools, and supplies when used, providing written documentation of repairs, palletizing/depalletizing equipment and interfacing with the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- De-palletize and preflight vacuum pumps for use by the customer.
- Perform vacuum pump preventative maintenance.
- Deinstall failed pumps and install rebuilt pumps.
- Prepare vacuum pumps for shipment.
- Work with customer personnel to troubleshoot vacuum issues with chambers, forelines and vacuum pumps.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Gas Abatement Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Two (2) or more years experience interacting with customers preferred.
- Hands-on experience with vacuum pumps such as Edwards, Ebara, Alcatel and Leybold dry, rotary vane and boosters preferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- College or specific relevant coursework preferred
- Industry experience preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret written document
- Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquires
- Ability to prepare reports, and write business correspondence
