Position Overview:
As a material handler, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations by handling customer parts, performing inspections, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform receiving inspection of incoming customer products (via customer drop off, freight, Fed-Ex, or UPS) verifying quantity, documentation, and product condition
- Fixture customer parts using proper technique as directed by an area supervisor
- Conduct hardness testing and visual inspections after processing to ensure customer requirements are met
- Package customer products to ensure safe and secure delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow written and verbal work instructions accurately
- Assist with additional tasks as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced, changing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
