Role: SEC Reporting Manager
Pay Rate: $70/hr - $80/hr

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
SEC Filings:
Oversee the end-to-end preparation, review, and filing of all quarterly and annual reports with the SEC (Forms 10-Q and 10-K), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all reporting deadlines.
Manage the use of the filing software (e.g., Workiva) and ensure XBRL tagging is performed accurately and timely.
Technical Accounting & Compliance:
Conduct comprehensive technical accounting research on complex issues and document the company's positions in technical memos.
Monitor and assess the impact of new US GAAP and SEC pronouncements and lead the implementation of required changes.
Maintain and update internal controls over financial reporting related to the external reporting process, supporting SOX 404 compliance.
Coordination & Audit:
Coordinate with internal departments (Legal, Investor Relations, FP&A, Treasury) to gather necessary data, disclosures, and commentary for external reports.
Act as a primary liaison with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits related to SEC filings and financial disclosures.
Review financial statements, footnotes, MD&A (Management’s Discussion & Analysis), and supporting schedules for consistency and accuracy.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline the financial reporting process to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Salary : $70 - $80
