Power Platform Engineer (Power Automate / M365 Automation)

Vaco is partnering with a national, consumer-facing organization to hire a Power Platform Engineer focused on building and scaling automation solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to streamline workflows, eliminate manual processes, and improve operational efficiency through low-code and no-code solutions.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building practical solutions that drive immediate business impact. You’ll operate at the intersection of business process improvement and technical execution, translating real-world needs into scalable automations across teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and build automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes across departments
• Develop applications and solutions using Power Apps to support internal users and operational needs
• Integrate Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive into automated workflows
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements
• Build and maintain connectors and integrations across internal systems and third-party platforms
• Monitor and troubleshoot automation workflows, ensuring reliability and performance
• Maintain documentation for workflows, processes, and system integrations
• Support governance and best practices across the Power Platform ecosystem
• Assist in scaling automation efforts across the organization through reusable solutions and templates

Required Experience

• 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, with strong focus on Power Automate
• Hands-on experience building workflows, integrations, and business process automations
• Experience working within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive)
• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in cross-functional environments with business stakeholders
• Familiarity with APIs and integration concepts

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power Apps development
• Exposure to Power BI for reporting and dashboards
• Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance within Power Platform
• Experience working in retail or high-volume operational environments
• Basic understanding of Azure services or cloud integrations

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $65-80/hr, DOE
