What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll & Accounting Coordinator (Part-Time) position at Vaco by Highspring?
The Payroll & Accounting Coordinator is responsible for managing the organization's bi-monthly payroll process and providing accounting support to the Finance Department. This position plays a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while also supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, audit preparation, and general bookkeeping functions.
Payroll administration is the primary focus of this role, with accounting responsibilities serving as secondary support. The ideal candidate will have experience processing payroll in ADP, maintaining accurate financial records in QuickBooks, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
This position offers flexibility in scheduling and is expected to work approximately 24-32 hours per week over 3-4 days, with onsite presence required.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
