Job Summary
The Parts Accounting Specialist plays a key role in both accounting and parts operations, with responsibilities divided evenly between financial support and inventory management. This position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles to effectively manage problem-solving tasks related to parts inventory control, rebate tracking, and other analytical functions.
Key Responsibilities
Post all inventory received into the facility and ensure accuracy of related documentation.
Create credit requests for damaged or missing parts from inbound shipments.
Communicate with vendors to resolve issues involving inbound parts inventory.
Review customer statements and investigate accounts receivable items to determine payment status.
Identify unpaid invoices, research discrepancies, and assist with payment resolution.
Support administrative tasks as needed, particularly those related to accounting and operations.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes related to parts reconciliation and vendor communication.
Qualifications
Accounting training or experience required; a base understanding of accounting functions is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience with inventory or parts management preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
