We are partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Interim Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and provide leadership across multiple business units. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership while driving financial performance, compliance, process improvements, and team development.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & Reporting- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting activities
- Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to improve results
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports
- Support executive leadership with financial insights and strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, financial regulations, and reporting requirements
- Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risk
- Implement process improvements to strengthen financial operations and reporting accuracy
- Lead the annual budgeting process in partnership with department leaders
- Monitor budget performance and provide guidance on cost management initiatives
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support business objectives
- Manage, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Support the professional growth of team members through coaching and leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting tools, and automation
- Oversee payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration
- Partner closely with HR to support payroll compliance and process integration
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience managing multiple business units, locations, or brands preferred
- Residential services industry experience strongly preferred
- Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%
