Job Title: HR Generalist - Payroll & HR Operations
Location: Tempe, AZ - 100% onsite
Pay Range: $65,000-$70,000 annually
Vaco has partnered with a well-established organization in Tempe that is seeking an HR Generalist to provide hands-on support across payroll and day-to-day HR operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll activities for a local employee population, including timekeeping review, employee updates, deductions, reporting, and final payroll processing.
- Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers, providing timely support and guidance on workplace questions and HR processes.
- Coordinate key employee lifecycle activities, including hiring support, new hire onboarding, employee changes, and separations.
- Support benefits administration, leave tracking, employee documentation, and accurate maintenance of HRIS records.
- Partner with local management and HR leadership on employee relations matters, policy implementation, compliance efforts, and HR process improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of Human Resources experience with exposure to multiple areas of HR.
- 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
