What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Director position at Vaco by Highspring?
Must haves:
- M&A experience
- Combo of PE backed plus the volume of stuff for foundational implementation (tech stack), developing data and reporting, but on top of that
- VERY tactical and strategic, doer
- Talent strategy and retention, credible at a board meeting, but can communicate with someone that is blue collar, communicative
- Manage team of 6
- Has to be in Baton Rouge, LA
- Industrial experience, service business, utilities companies, power plants, calibration testing engineered products, manufacturing possibly
- Talent strategy (succession planning, high level succession planning for directors/VP, performance management)
- Previous HRBP would be great
- M&A experience
- Data savvy, understand OKRs and KPIs to manager projects and deadlines, set KPIs for specific deliverables

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
