Role: Financial Controller
Location: Warrendale, PA

My client is seeking a Financial Controller to lead and oversee core accounting and financial operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who can manage day-to-day functions while contributing to financial planning and accuracy.
? Key Responsibilities- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
- Manage payroll processing (experience with ADP preferred)
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and lead month-end close
- Ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with GAAP
- Develop and support financial forecasts and reporting
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights to leadership
- Strong background in accounting fundamentals (must-have)
- Experience in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with month-end close and GL maintenance
- Familiarity with ADP payroll systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- CPA preferred (not required)

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
