Vaco is hiring for an Entry Level Accountant opportunity in Painesville OH.

Salary: 45-50,000/yr
Accounts Receivable
Establish and monitor customer credit terms.
Manage customer collections and follow up on outstanding balances.
Apply customer payments accurately to accounts.
Reconcile customer accounts, including credits and charges.
Accounts Payable
Assist with vendor setup, maintenance, and purchasing support.
Code invoices, set up new vendor accounts, and communicate with vendors as needed.
Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure accuracy.
Verify and process invoice payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement.
Account Analysis & Reconciliation
Assist with month-end close activities.
Support periodic internal audits and account reconciliations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong data entry skills, including typing and 10-key proficiency.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Some college coursework in accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience.
