100% Onsite in Washtenaw County, Michigan
40 hour Fulltime / $70 - 80 hourly
We're looking for a Data Engineer with 5 years of experience and proven expertise in Snowflake implementations, ELT pipeline development, and data system optimization.
Must Haves / Mandatory:
- 5 plus years of professional experience in data engineering
- Hands-on Snowflake implementation and / or migration experience
- Strong ELT development skills using modern tooling
- Advanced SQL and data modeling expertise with light Python scripting
Nice to Have / Preferred:
- Familiarity with data governance, compliance, or security frameworks
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Lead Snowflake implementation efforts, including data migration, integration, and performance tuning across large-scale environments.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines that integrate diverse data sources and support analytics and reporting needs.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Use Python for automation and light scripting to streamline data workflows and support transformation logic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, ensure data quality, and uphold compliance with institutional standards.

Salary : $70 - $80
