What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cost Accountant position at Vaco by Highspring?
Vaco has partnered with a food manufacturing company south of Boston who is looking to hire a Sr Cost Accountant. This is a permanent position, salary is $130,000 Bonus. This person will report directly to the Plant Controller and will be responsible for supporting all technical and operational aspects of Cost and Inventory accounting. This includes a hands-on knowledge of purchasing and manufacturing, intimate working knowledge of D365, Great Plains or SAP ERP system, history of driving process and controls improvement and the ability to work effectively in a fast moving, cross-functional environment.
It will be a hybrid position.
