Senior Back-End Developer (Cloud & IoT)
We're looking to connect with experienced Back-End Engineers who enjoy building the cloud platforms behind connected IoT products, smart devices, and real-time video applications.
We're looking for engineers with experience in:
- Java backend development
- AWS cloud services & scalable distributed systems
- RESTful APIs powering mobile applications and connected devices
- Kubernetes, DynamoDB & Git
- Secure, high-performance cloud services
- Automated testing and modern software engineering practices
Bonus if you've worked with:
- Smart home or consumer electronics products
- IoT ecosystems and cloud-connected devices
- Real-time video streaming or media platforms
- Device-to-cloud communication and large-scale backend infrastructure
This is a product-focused engineering role where you'll build the cloud services powering next-generation connected cameras and IoT experiences used by customers around the world.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
