Vaco is partnering with a rapidly growing, global organization seeking an Associate Controller to join its high-performing accounting team in the Nashville area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4 Audit Senior looking to transition into industry while maintaining strong technical accounting exposure, gaining ownership over financial reporting, and joining an organization with significant long-term growth opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for assigned areas of the business.
• Manage financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statement analysis.
• Research and apply technical accounting guidance, including IFRS and internal accounting policies.
• Partner with finance and operational leadership to analyze financial results and support business decisions.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, reporting processes, and accounting procedures.
• Support audits, system implementations, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years of public accounting audit experience, preferably Big 4.
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification required
• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls knowledge.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and work independently.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in technology, automation, and process improvement.
