Accounting Consultant

Accounting Consultant - Contract through May 2026
Location: DFW, TX
Pay: $40-$60/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly professional, well-spoken, and detail-oriented Accounting Consultant. This role requires on-site presence three times per week and offers competitive compensation ranging from $40 to $60 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Full cycle general ledger accounting including display expertise with month end close.
• Perform detailed accounting tasks, including prepaids, accruals, and journal entries.
• Utilize ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in preparing month end close and financial documents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various accounting initiatives and projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in major ERP systems is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  
  

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $40-$60 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
