Description
The Extended Care Director is responsible for the leadership, organization, and daily operation of the school’s extended care program, including before and after school care, non-school day programs, and summer camp. This role ensures a safe, well-structured, and engaging environment for students while maintaining strong communication with families and alignment with school policies and mission. The Extended Care Director works closely with the Elementary Principal and school leadership to support program effectiveness and growth.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree, Office Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in childcare, extended care, or educational program leadership
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and program coordination
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and problem-solve effectively
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of the school
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and general office technology systems
