Position Title: Groundskeeper
Resort and Location: Grandview Las Vegas
Department: Grounds (Maintenance Dept.)
Reports To: Chief Engineer/Maintenance Manager
Position Summary
The Groundskeeper is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds of the Resort.
Core responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
Specific Responsibilities
Experience
One year of grounds maintenance or any equivalent and/or education from which comparable knowledge or skills and abilities have been achieved.
Education: High School diploma or GED required.
Flexible Scheduling: Must be able to work Evenings, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to use his/her hands and fingers to feel, and reach for objects of various sizes, shapes and. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Specific Responsibilities
- Cleans area around the pool decks to include furniture and water feature(s)
- Picks up and disposes of litter around entire Resort.
- Periodically empties all trash containers around the Resort exterior including outside smoke areas.
- Maintains garage cleanliness by sweeping and disposing of litter including hallways and elevator.
- Cleans and stocks pool restrooms
- Stores chemicals and supplies in accordance with resort, state, and federal laws and resort policies.
- Empties dumpsters throughout the property into trash compactor
- Maintains Resort sidewalks and grounds using power washers and scrubbing machines.
- Cleans and maintains barbeque grills throughout the resort property.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
- Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful and courteous demeanor always
- Always Ensures Outstanding customer care
- Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
