We’re currently seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to support the daily operations of our Engineering and Maintenance Department. Compensation: $90-$95,00.00 annually
What You’ll Do
- Support daily Engineering and Maintenance operations across the resort
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs and property inspections
- Perform and oversee repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance
- Monitor maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of work orders
- Help supervise, schedule, train, and support Engineering team members
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, and company safety standards
- Coordinate work performed by outside contractors and vendors
- Maintain engineering shop inventory, supplies, and organization
- Assist with emergency response procedures and participate in on-call coverage
- Deliver outstanding guest service while maintaining professionalism and teamwork
- Minimum 2 years of hospitality engineering or maintenance leadership experience preferred
- Resort or timeshare experience highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency on-call shifts
- Ability to lift and move equipment/materials as needed
