What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at Vac2Go LLC?
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop reports and dashboards, and deliver insights that drive business strategy. You’ll leverage tools such as Power BI, SQL, and statistical languages like R, Python, or Mini-Tab, to support a wide range of business functions.
This is a full-time direct hire, remote position with a few days per month in the office and some travel to other US company sites as needed (<15%). Position reports to the CEO.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI
- Extract, clean, and analyze data using SQL and other tools
- Apply statistical and predictive modeling techniques using R, Python, or Mini-Tab
- Analyze and interpret data from Business Central and other systems to support operational and financial decision-making
- Present findings and actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Document data definitions, report logic, and business processes • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of all analytics outputs
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree a plus
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar data-focused role
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI for reporting and visualization
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and transformation
- Experience with MS Power Automate • Experience with R, Python, or Mini-Tab for statistical analysis
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric for data integration and modeling
- Experience with Fleet management
- Familiarity with DAX and Power Query (M Language)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
- Exposure to financial and operational reporting use cases
- Experience with data governance and documentation best practice
