Job Summary – Mechanic, Vacuum Truck Maintenance
The Mechanic is responsible for servicing and maintaining vacuum trucks, accessories, and related equipment to ensure they are rental-ready and operating at peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, service, and re-build various types of vacuum trucks
- Interpret prints and instructions to complete mechanical tasks
- Apply mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and develop solutions
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through quality service
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of mechanic experience with automatic and manual equipment
- 2 years of driving experience (CDL or Non-CDL)
- Valid driver’s license and current DOT certification
- Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to operate and interpret diagnostic systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Fleet Management and ERP systems
