Duties
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently using order picking systems and inventory management software
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods
- Maintain precise inventory records through data entry into Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems like AS400 or MRPs
- Ensure proper packaging of products according to shipping logistics standards, including trade compliance and international trade regulations when applicable
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory management software accordingly
- Support shipping & receiving activities by coordinating with carriers, managing shipping documentation, and tracking deliveries
- Assist with warehouse organization, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with safety protocols
Skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including order fulfillment, picking & packing, shipping logistics, and stock control
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
- Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping
- Customer service orientation to support internal teams and external carriers effectively
- Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes and international trade regulations is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards
