Position Summary
VACCD is seeking Mental Health Professionals, Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs), students, and interns to provide comprehensive behavioral health services across multiple programs. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, community-based setting while gaining valuable clinical experience and professional development.
Service Areas
· Intensive In-Home (IIH) Services
· Mental Health Skill-Building Services (MHSS)
· Therapeutic Day Treatment (TDT)
· Substance Use Disorder Services (SA/ARTS)
· Crisis Intervention Services
· Peer Support Services
· Case Management
· Outpatient Mental Health Services
Key Responsibilities
· Provide services in community-based settings, including homes, schools, and outpatient environments
· Deliver individual and family counseling aligned with individualized service plan goals
· Develop, implement, and update individualized service plans (ISPs)
· Provide case management and coordinate access to community resources
· Support individuals in building coping skills, behavioral regulation, and daily functioning
· Complete accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with DMAS/DBHDS requirements
· Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Services or related field (preferred)
· Eligibility for or current status as: QMHP-Trainee (QMHP-T), QMHP-A, or QMHP-C
· LPC, LCSW, LMFT (licensed or resident/supervisee status)
· CSAC-A or CSAC (for substance use services)
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and in community-based setting
