Your Mission: Own every one of our builds from blueprint to burnout
In this role, you'll be the leader who steers our team through complex restorations starting with the kickoff meeting and carrying us all the way through to the client reveal. We're looking for a project management professional who can help us stay on time, within budget, and exceed our client's expectations. You'll be responsible for empowering fabricators, painters, and assemblers to own their milestones while keeping leadership, customers, and vendors perfectly synced. Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Help clients work through ideas for custom modifications, engine builds, expert bodywork and vintage upholstery designs.
- Develop comprehensive project plans for each restoration, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
- Collaborate with the Team Leaders of each department to sequence work, allocate resources, and adjust schedules as needed.
- Create and maintain up-to-date project documentation, including build sheets, schedules, and progress reports.
Coordination & Communication
- Act as the central point of contact between clients, leadership, and internal teams.
- Facilitate weekly progress meetings with technical teams to review status, resolve bottlenecks, and align priorities.
- Provide leadership with accurate, timely updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Budget & Resource Management
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Coordinate with purchasing and parts departments to ensure materials are ordered and available on schedule.
- Track labor and resource usage to optimize efficiency.
Quality Assurance & Delivery
- Partner with the Team Leaders to ensure all work meets established quality standards at each stage of the build.
- Conduct milestone reviews to verify completion of the critical phases before advancing to the next stage.
- Oversee final delivery preparation, including client walkthroughs, documentation, and post-delivery follow-up.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3 - 5 years of project management experience, ideally in automotive restoration, custom fabrication, manufacturing, or similar project-based industries.
- Project Management Skills: Strong ability to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Understanding: Familiarity with automotive restoration processes, shop workflows, or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Tools & Software: Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, ClickUp, Podio or similar)
- Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges, develop solutions, and adjust plans under pressure.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred; PMP or equivalent certification a plus.
