Here's What You'll Do
- Water resources and storm water analysis modeling & design.
- Preparing floodplain/floodway calculations and design.
- Grading, site infrastructure and erosion control design.
- Participating in watershed, environmental, and wetland projects for private and public sector clients.
- Preparing reports, design plan sets, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Monitoring projects to ensure needed regulatory compliance, including the possibility of construction site inspections for compliance with erosion and sediment control regulations.
- Assisting in water resources permitting.
- Must be a degreed Civil Engineer from an accredited university.
- 0-1 years of related experience in Water Resources is required.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS and/or MicroStation experience is preferred.
- Experience with modeling/ design tools such as HEC-RAS, TR-20, and XPSWMM are preferred.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local stormwater and floodplain permitting requirements preferred.
