An Aircraft Mechanic II – Perform repairs, modifications, and installations on C-12 aircraft avionics, wiring, components, flight controls, and P&W PT6A-41, PT6A-42, PT6A-60 PT6A-65 turbo prop engines. Operates ground support equipment and flight line vehicles. Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions, technical manuals and/or directives necessary for the accomplishment of job assignment.
The Aircraft Mechanic II reports directly to the ACI Supervisors and/or Maintenance Manager.

The primary functions of an "Aircraft Mechanic II" and which can be performed without direct supervision include:
Hand tools and precision measuring tools.
Working Environment
Hangar/Flightline. Seasonal Temperatures (Cold/Hot)
Physical Activities
Bending, squatting, kneeling, and crawling. Must be able to lift 50lbs at times.

Description
The primary functions of an "Aircraft Mechanic II" and which can be performed without direct supervision include:
- Performs tasks as assigned /directed by Maintenance Supervisors and/or Maintenance Manager in accordance with instructions, applicable technical data, manuals, and directives.
- Evaluates aircraft discrepancies to identify proper methods for repair. Identifies necessary parts, materials, and tooling requirements to complete tasks.
- Utilize manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, Maintenance Engineering Directives, schematics, drawings, blueprints, charts, and other applicable publications to install, test, troubleshoot, and ensure aircraft modifications are accomplished in a timely manner.
- Inspect for corrosion, treat, and repair discrepancies. Perform touch up painting and apply decals and labels. Prepare aircraft components for paint.
- Comply with and follow established standards of workmanship, safety, quality, and production.

Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license required.
- Airframe mechanical, and electrical experience – preferred.
