Senior Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Lead information security projects and technology initiatives.
• Implement and maintain security controls to protect enterprise systems and data.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and CMMC requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and update System Security Plans (SSPs) and security documentation.
• Conduct security audits, control testing, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Create and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with IT, business teams, auditors, and leadership to implement security controls.
• Investigate security incidents, identify root causes, and recommend remediation.
• Review security logs and monitor compliance with established security policies.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new security technologies and solutions.
• Deliver security awareness training and communicate security requirements across the organization.
• Manage project plans, timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communications.

equired Qualifications

• 6 years of Information Security or Cybersecurity experience.
• Strong expertise in NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and CMMC.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government/DoD security compliance programs.
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs).
• Strong background in security audits, control testing, and compliance assessments.
• Experience developing security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
• Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GRC platforms, SIEM tools, and vulnerability management solutions.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and IT auditing.
