LabVantage LIMS Developer / Support Analyst (Remote, Cleveland, OH)

V2 Technology has been an IT service partner to Northeast Ohio businesses for more than 25 years. We're looking for a LabVantage specialist who can support the people who use the system every day and make changes when they need something new.
What you'll do
- Provide day-to-day support to LabVantage 8.x users in a test laboratory; answer questions, fix problems, and resolve tickets
- Make code changes and configuration updates to the LabVantage platform
- Design, build, and maintain reports in Jasper Reports
- Develop and support related applications on the Microsoft stack (.NET web and Windows apps)
- Support SQL Server databases: queries, troubleshooting, and performance
- Meet with users and leadership to gather requirements, set priorities, and report progress
What you bring
- 5 years of hands-on LabVantage experience, including code changes, configuration, and user support
- Experience writing reports in Jasper Reports
- Experience with testing lab instruments and how they interface with LabVantage.
- Experience building software on the Microsoft stack: .NET (web or Windows), C#, and SQL Server
- Clear communication with lab staff who aren't technical
- The judgment to work on your own and know when to escalate
Nice to have
- Experience upgrading or migrating LabVantage versions
- A background in regulated laboratory environments
How it works
- Location: Remote. You'll come to Cleveland now and then for user and leadership meetings.
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time, at least 24 hours per week. Your hours are flexible, but you need to be available during core business hours (Eastern) to handle user support.
- Arrangement: W-2 employee or independent contractor.
- Compensation: Competitive and based on experience.
