Human Resources Coordinator
We are looking for a knowledgeable, hardworking and reliable Human Resources Coordinator to be a member of the Human Resource team to support the Human Resources Director. You will be the one responsible for performing administrative tasks such as gathering and processing necessary documentation, preparing timely reports and evaluations, arranging schedules, maintaining and monitoring record databases and responding to inquiries. As a member of the Human Resource team you will ensure accurate processing and recording of employee records. Must have good people skills and can be trusted with sensitive information. They must have excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and executives. Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative support
· Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation.
· Manage and update HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, etc.
· Assist in benefit administration, disability, and workers compensation.
· Prepare, manage and store paperwork for HR policies and procedures.
· Process required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increase and other related employment matters.
· Manage verification of employment.
· Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information.
· Maintain schedule and coordinate calendar activities.
· Answer telephone calls and provide needed information.
· Create reports for leadership.
· Counsel employees and supervisors on employee/management relation.
· Familiarity with labor laws.
· Keeps and maintains detailed and organized records.
· Ensures that all benefits and insurance premiums are entered into software.
· Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
· Assists department in preparing for audits.
· Responsible for website and Social Media maintenance
· Handles new insurance enrollment
· Recruiting
· Filing
· Conduct Exit Interviews
· Special projects as needed by the human resources manager
· Fact to Face/In Person Meetings.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources preferred or similar field preferred
2-3 years of work experience in the Human Resources field
Proficient Microsoft Office skills including proficiency in Excel or Sheets required.
Strong work ethic and team player.
High degree of professionalism.
Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material/information.
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail skills.
Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
Work Environment:
The majority of working hours will be spent in a temperature-controlled office setting.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Standard 40-hour work week applies.
Physical presence required.
Light physical activity such as walking and standing required.
Will report directly to Human Resources Director
