The South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services (SCDHHS) is the State Medicaid Agency for South Carolina. This agency is focused on the modernization of the State’s Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). Scope of the Projec
t:The Quality Assurance Tester - Advanced will be assigned to projects for the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS), in collaboration with the SCDH
HSProject Management Office (PMO). The PMO is responsible for staffing all SCDHHS projects as well as establishing and monitoring IT related governance and standards, which a

es:• Responsible for performing tests on technical solutions to isolate and solve issues. Initiates tests, analyzes results, and finds solutions to technical proble
ms.• Demonstrate proficiency in SCDHHS test processes and SDLC to
ols• Demonstrate ability to translate functional and technical requirements and technical designs into test ca
ses• Develop and execute functional and technical test cases under the direction of test leads and senior test
ers• Create and maintain SDLC traceability from test cases to requirements and designs/software components; Assist in generation of requirement traceability matri
ces• Participate in defect triage, retest, and resolut
ion• Create quality assurance documentation and reports as requi

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTAN
CE):• 2 years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scena
rios• 2 years knowledge of manual testing techniques (functional, regression, smoke, usability, boundary test
ing)• 3 years deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid), business proce
