POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides operational and administrative support to the Enteral Therapy Department, ensuring efficient daily operations and continuity of care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing coverage for Patient Operations Coordinators (POCs) and the Documentation Specialist; managing equipment retrieval; overseeing outstanding patient documentation and sales order follow-up; maintaining departmental dashboards; coordinating monthly team meetings and schedules; conducting monthly chart audits; supporting referral intake; training new staff; and participating in process improvement initiatives.
This role collaborates closely with the Clinical Operations Manager, Enteral Therapy team members, patients, caregivers, and vendors to facilitate communication, coordinate workflows, and ensure timely dissemination of key information across the department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: N/A
Education: High school diploma or equivalent strongly desired.
Some college course work desired.
Experience: Experience in health care, nutrition, and/or durable medical equipment preferred.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and basic computer skills desired.
Miscellaneous: Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate efficiency with time management, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers.
On call responsibility required.
