Opportunity for quarterly off-shift bonuses! JOB DESCRIPTION: The Maintenance Technician II performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all facility and building systems. Completes specialized repairs in areas of technical expertise. Performs other general tasks for the maintenance and upkeep of grounds, facility and site. Provides plant operation and shift oversight as necessary. EDUCATION: High School (GED) education and a State Journeyman's License in one of the following trades: Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry or Chief Engineer or class II (NILUPE). In place of licensure a comparative, cumulative number of years experience may be considered, in a specific specialty trade. Examples of such are HVAC Technician, Refrigeration Technician, and/or experience in excess of five years in a mechanical, electrical, carpentry or plumbing trade.Must possess a valid Vermont driver’s license and safe driving record EXPERIENCE: Two to three years experience in related trades.
