The incumbent ensures and provides a variety of ambulatory assistance options for patients arriving and departing our main campus facility. Entrance Assistants will receive proper training in assisting with basic lifting techniques to help patients into and out of their cars if-needed, providing a safe and secure environment for our visitors. The incumbent also assists with the heavy and complex flow of traffic at our main entrance and maintains a clean, safe and aesthetically pleasing space. This position requires the incumbent to work outside of our ACC lobby space. The time spent outdoors with varying exposure to the weather elements will account for the majority of time spent in the position. EDUCATION: High School graduate or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: One or more years of customer service experience in a health care setting or other customer focused environment. This is a bargaining union position.
