In this role, you’ll help guide budgeting decisions, ensure financial accuracy, and empower leaders with meaningful data that supports operational excellence across our hospital.

In This Role, You Will:
- Analyze costs, trends, and financial performance to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, and healthcare accounting standards.
- Maintain and administer cost accounting systems, including Costflex.
- Support the annual operating and capital budget process by collaborating with department managers.
- Forecast future needs, monitor budget variances, and keep financial tools updated and accurate.
- Evaluate contracts and manage lease accounting in alignment with GASB 87 and GASB 96.
- Conduct internal audits, research variances, and support external audit activities.
- Provide clear, accessible financial insights to hospital leadership and clinical departments.
- Serve as a trusted resource for interpreting cost and financial data across the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
- A dedicated accounting professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret data clearly and accurately.
- Someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working both independently and collaboratively.
- A great communicator who can translate complex financial information into understandable insights.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to supporting high-quality financial operations.
