This is more than an administrative role. It’s an opportunity to be the central hub that keeps communication flowing, projects moving, and essential operational needs on track. Your work will help ensure our facility remains safe, well-maintained, and survey-ready every day.
In This Role, You Will:

- Assist with budget-related tasks, including monitoring expenses, preparing financial information, and supporting budget reviews.
- Create and maintain well-organized project folders, regulatory documentation, and departmental files.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, schedules, and communications.
- Greet visitors, vendors, and staff while providing professional, friendly customer service.
- Sort and distribute departmental mail, ensuring urgent items are addressed promptly.
- Support the Director with preliminary budget worksheets, reviewing variances, and tracking spending.
- Help with invoice processing, coding, purchase orders, and timekeeping for departmental staff.
- Maintain office supply inventory and process orders as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- A detail-oriented, people-centered professional with at least 2 years of administrative or office experience.
- Someone with basic accounting knowledge—including expense tracking, invoice processing, and budget support—to assist with financial tasks and operational budgeting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced department.
- Clear, friendly communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general computer applications.
- A team member who thrives both independently and collaboratively.
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
- You’ll join a supportive team that values collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.
- You will directly impact the daily operations that keep our hospital safe and functioning.
- We offer opportunities for professional growth, continuing education, and a full benefits package.
- Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed—UMH believes in celebrating milestones and the people who help us achieve them.
