Administrative Assistant – Plant Operations
Uvalde Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Plant Operations Department. This role is essential to the daily operations of our facilities team by coordinating work orders, managing departmental documentation, supporting budgets, processing purchase orders, and serving as a key communication resource for staff, vendors, and contractors.
The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain accurate records, support regulatory compliance, and assist with departmental projects that help keep our hospital operating efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative or office experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general computer applications
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
