What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Professor (N-T Trk Clin), Internal Medicine-Cardiovascular Medicine position at UTMB Faculty Group Practice?
Essential Job Functions
This position will participate in 3 to 5 blocks of the General Cardiology inpatient services in Galveston staffed 3 to 4 outpatient clinics per week and participated in ECHO, Nuclear, EKG, and callotation. In addition, this position will be dedicated to cardiac imaging for 2 to 3 days per week.
This position will have educational responsibilities that include participation in medical school education, including courses, lectures, and developing/supporting educational curricula for
medical students.
Minimum Qualifications
MD degree or equivalent, Board certified or eligible in ABIM Cardiovascular Diseases. Must have completed an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency. Possess or eligible for full medical license in the State of Texas.
Salary
Commensurate with experience.
