Project Manager
The Project Manager oversees all phases of utility distribution construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout, ensuring compliance with safety standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This role involves developing and managing budgets, financial reporting, schedules, and resource plans, coordinating field crews and subcontractors, and maintaining strong client relationships. The Project Manager monitors project performance and implements corrective actions to achieve timely, cost-effective delivery. Additional responsibilities include supervising procurement, enforcing quality and safety standards, and providing accurate progress reports to stakeholders while driving continuous improvement initiatives across multiple projects.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Interaction with project supervisors and subcontractors for coordination to ensure schedule, and cost controls are being met.
- Responsible for reporting financial and operational KPIs to Region leadership and the customer.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and supervisory skills essential.
- Manages project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure project goals (e.g., schedule, scope and quality) are achieved.
- Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.
- Long term outlook and planning to ensure long lead items are procured as needed per schedule.
- Identifies project management coordination process gaps or areas for improvement and recommends and implements solutions.
- Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree preferably in operations, construction management, project management, or business management.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Weekly on site/office meetings required. Ideal candidate will be located in the Triad area of North Carolina.
Education & Experience
- Project management experience in the overhead and underground distribution space is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial best practices and project accounting.
- Experience utilizing resource tools to manage capacity, forecast demand and allocation of employees
- Experience creating and maintaining resource loaded project schedules
- Experience with Microsoft Office
