Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with executive leadership to understand business objectives, operational challenges, growth plans, and workforce implications.
- Translate business strategy into practical people strategies that improve organizational performance, productivity, and scalability.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent decisions, change management, and culture initiatives.
- Evaluate organizational effectiveness and recommend structural, leadership, and process improvements that support growth and operational excellence.
- Lead workforce planning efforts that align talent needs with production requirements, business expansion, and succession risks.
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that ensure the organization attracts and retains the capabilities required for current and future business needs.
- Work with talent acquisition resources to build talent pipelines for critical positions and key operational roles.
- Lead succession planning and leadership development initiatives to strengthen organizational bench strength and reduce key-person dependency.
- Coach leaders on employee performance, team effectiveness, leadership capability, and talent management practices.
- Drive employee retention strategies focused on engagement, development, career progression, and leadership effectiveness.
- Ensure efficient execution of all HR operations including employee relations, payroll, benefits, compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development.
- Establish scalable HR processes, systems, and service models that support organizational growth while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to streamline HR workflows, improve service delivery, and enhance employee and manager experiences.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and governance practices that support business objectives while mitigating organizational risk.
- Lead compensation philosophy, salary administration, incentive programs, and workforce cost planning to support business performance and talent retention.
- Provide strategic oversight and governance for payroll and benefits administration, ensuring operational accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Direct and develop the Payroll & Benefits Specialist while maintaining accountability for overall program effectiveness.
- Lead benefits strategy, vendor management, annual renewals, open enrollment planning, and compliance oversight.
- Review payroll controls, audits, reporting, and compensation-related changes to ensure accuracy and risk mitigation.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex payroll, benefits, leave administration, and employee relations matters.
- Establish service standards, quality controls, and performance expectations for payroll and benefits administration.
- Provide leadership and guidance on employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and organizational challenges.
- Partner with leaders to address workforce issues proactively while maintaining positive employee relations and minimizing organizational risk.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and utilize feedback mechanisms to improve organizational health and retention.
- Support organizational change initiatives by ensuring effective communication, leader alignment, and employee adoption.
- Develop and leverage workforce analytics to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Analyze workforce trends and provide actionable recommendations to leadership that improve operational and financial performance.
- Utilize data to identify organizational risks, talent gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain HR governance practices that reduce legal exposure and support sound business decision-making.
- Oversee employment practices, investigations, policy administration, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Partner with leadership to proactively identify and mitigate workforce-related risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Extensive experience in HR leadership roles, with a proven track record of strategic HR management.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing HR teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
