Summary/Objective
The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting guests and employees between the hotel, casino, and other designated locations. This role ensures timely, courteous service while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. The Shuttle Driver also assists with vehicle upkeep and contributes to a welcoming guest experience.
Success in this role means driving safely, delivering reliable and professional service, and supporting the smooth operation of shuttle services throughout the property.
Qualifications:Qualifications
General
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Ute Mountain Ute Gaming Commission Non-Support License (background checks may be required).
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record.
- CDL with Passenger (P2) endorsement is highly preferred but not required
- Must be at least 25 years old to be insurable for passenger transport.
- Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events
- Must pass a drug test.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Additional coursework in transportation management, fleet operations, or supervision preferred
Experience
- Prior driving experience preferred, especially with commercial or passenger vehicles
- Customer service or guest-facing experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and basic vehicle maintenance
- Excellent communication skills and customer service attitude
- Ability to complete logs and forms accurately and on time
- Knowledge of basic first aid methods preferred
- Dependable, courteous, and professional under pressure
