DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use; logging inspections; reporting discrepancies; cleaning vehicle; ensuring fluid levels are adequate.
2. Delivers customers to destinations by identifying destination; selecting safest route; driving the van.
3. Protects employees and customers by complying with federal, state and local legal requirements adhering to safety requirements; applying preventive maintenance policies; applying manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; correctly leading the vehicle; evaluating new equipment or technologies; advising management on any needed actions.
4. Maintains records by completing the driver log; filing documents; filling our accident or incident reports.
5. Provides customer information by answering questions and requests.
6. Helps to ensure teamwork by completing various tasks that may be requested by your supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.         Must be 25 years or older and able to obtain a UMUGC Non-Support License.

2.         Available for all shifts.

3.           Must have Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

4.         Knowledge of first aid methods preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1.         High School diploma or GED Certified.

2.         Excellent communication skills

3.         Good organizational skills.

4.         Committed to quality customer service.
