Skilled Construction Laborer

Job Summary
Utah Stone is looking for a dependable, hardworking Skilled Laborer to join our team. We specialize in decorative concrete resurfacing, resin-bound stone installations, concrete repair, and other high-end construction projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with construction and decorative concrete installation projects.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Mix, transport, and install construction materials.
- Apply and finish materials using hand trowels with a high level of skill.
- Prepare job sites, protect surrounding areas, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment.
- Follow instructions from supervisors while also working independently when needed.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Requirements
- Previous construction experience required.
- Skilled and confident using a hand trowel.
- General knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials.
- Comfortable working outdoors in the sun and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and perform other physical tasks.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn specialized installation techniques and grow within the company.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with concrete finishing, decorative concrete, epoxy flooring, resin-bound stone, masonry, or similar trades.
- Experience operating construction equipment such as skid steers, mixers, grinders, or concrete saws is a plus.
