What are the responsibilities and job description for the 4-H Mentoring Assistant Site Coordinator position at Utah State University and Careers?
- Assist with recruiting volunteer mentors at the local high school.
- Assist with recruiting youth and families for the program.
- Plan and implement monthly events, such as Family Night Out and Mentor/Mentee activities.
- Assist with weekly mentoring club at the school.
- Attend all staff meetings and training's.
- Assist with maintaining site data (volunteers, families/youth, surveys, etc.).
- Must be able to work effectively with volunteers, youth, and families.
- Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Applications, Google Drive, Gmail, Social Media).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter, good follow-through.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Afternoon & Evening schedule that is open and/or flexible.
