What are the responsibilities and job description for the PARK GUEST SERVICES LEAD position at Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation?
Park Guest Services Lead
Utah Olympic Park | Park City, UT | Full-Time
At the Utah Olympic Park in Park City, UT, no two days look the same, and that's the point. As our Park Guest Services Lead, you'll be the first face athletes, coaches, and visitors see, leading tours through a facility that helped launch Olympic careers, and keeping guest services running like clockwork. If you like variety, enjoy people, and want a front-row seat to winter sports, keep reading.
Schedule, Pay & Benefits
Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday, 40 hours/week. The Park runs year-round with special events and holiday traffic, so some flexibility beyond the standard schedule may come up.
Pay: Starts at $21/hour
Benefits & Perks:
- Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
- HSA and 403(b) with employer matching
- Free friends & family vouchers for tubing, bobsled, and other venue experiences
- Discounts on retail, concessions, and sport programs
Why This Role
Few jobs let you introduce guests to a piece of winter sports history while watching developing athletes chase their goals. Your team trusts you to problem-solve as the day shifts: cash handling one hour, guided tours the next. The work is never routine. You might help someone see snow for the first time or watch an athlete register for their next competition, and your leadership shapes every visitor's first impression of the Park.
Job Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Customer service experience
- Cash handling experience
- Minimum age 21
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in Utah's mountain weather, and staying active throughout the day
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience leading or coordinating a small team's daily duties
- Retail, inventory, or nightly deposit experience
- Background or education in hospitality
- Comfort with POS systems and Microsoft Office
Day in the Life
Your day starts at the Guest Services Desk: opening procedures, the facility schedule, any policy or event updates. Then things move fast. Lead a tour for a family seeing the Park for the first time, process a sport program registration, troubleshoot the POS during a rush, or step in as Manager on Duty. You'll handle cash drawers and deposits, restock retail, answer questions on upcoming events, and jump in wherever the team needs you: parking, ticket sales, the museum. By day's end, you've been a tour guide, a problem-solver, and a mentor to newer staff.
About You at Utah Olympic Park
You thrive when the day doesn't go as planned. You bring Excellence to every guest interaction, family on vacation or athlete at competition. You show Grit when things get busy, juggling the desk, phones, and a tour group at once. You value Collaboration, stepping in for teammates and training new hires. And you feel the Community and Impact behind your work, knowing it supports the athletes and programs carrying forward Utah's Olympic legacy.
Ready to lead a team where every day looks a little different? Bring your customer service instincts and flexibility, and we'll bring the Olympic-sized experience. Apply today through this job posting or visit our careers page: https://utaholympiclegacy.org/careers/
