# **POSITION:** **Utah County Internship -- Health Education Intern - No Benefits, Unpaid **
Division of Health Promotion and Prevention seeks to provide unpaid internship experience opportunities for students interested in a career working on population health at a local level within Utah County. **

Internship Calendar
January - April
May - August
September -- December
Qualified candidates will gain experience in one or more of the following skill areas; conducting needs assessments, program planning, implementation, and evaluation. They will also learn how to advocate for health initiatives, communicate effectively, provide leadership and management, and maintain high ethical and professional standards in the field of health education and prevention while working with stakeholders on policy, systems and environment (PSE).
Candidates may be exposed to many elements of Health Promotion and Prevention programs including:
