Those applicants meeting the specified qualifications and additional screening criteria will be referred for a hiring interview. - The Opportunity:**
- Grade:** GIS Cadastral Analyst II - 725
- Grade:** GIS Cadastral Analyst I - 723
- Starting Pay:** GIS Cadastral Analyst II - $33.60 - $38.64 Hourly
- Starting Pay:** GIS Cadastral Analyst I - $29.24 - $33.60 Hourly
- Schedule:** 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday
- Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of work experience in a closely related field using ArcMap Software.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
- Preferred Candidates Will Possess Some Of The Below Attributes:**
- Preference may be given to applican
- Preference may be given to applicants with work experience closely related to land title, engineering, surveying, cartography, or GIS.
- Additional Eligibility Qualifications:**
- Selected applicants must obtain a Cadastral Mapping Certificate from the Utah Association of County Recorders during the first year in the position. The time requirement may be adjusted based on the Recorders Association schedule of offered classes.
- Selected applicants must have successfully passed the Utah County Advanced Cadastral Mapping test.
- Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and obtain a valid State of Utah driver's license within sixty (60) days of employment.
- Selected applicants will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
- Preference may be given to applicants with a bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Preference may be given to applicants with work experience closely related to land title, engineering, surveying, cartography, or GIS.
- Additional Eligibility Qualifications:**
- Selected applicants must obtain a Cadastral Mapping Certificate from the Utah Association of County Recorders during the first year in the position. The time requirement may be adjusted based on the Recorders Association schedule of offered classes.
