JOB SUMMARY
Works under minimal direction to provide technical skills required to analyze and define business and/or scientific problems of limited complexity for computer solution and to prepare, modify, and maintain programs for handling of such problems.
The incumbent will be expected to act as research to IT liaison, gather requirements, work with technical teams and build analytics using visualization tools.
This is a temporary assignment with an initial 6-month assignment length. This assignment may extend further depending on department need and funding.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
- Education
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
Preferred
- Established knowledge of research methods and clinical research.
- Power BI and/or Tableau experience.
JOB DUTIES
- The major function of this position is to drive execution and continuous improvement of key business processes enabling delivery of our Clinical Research Analytics data products. This position will use leadership, technical expertise, and analytical skills to maintain a robust project portfolio, always ensuring alignment between business needs and value-added Clinical Research analytics and data. It will also partner cross-functionally in line with ensuring EDS deliverables are delivered on time and in accordance with applicable standards and practices.
- Provides strategic operational consultation for department(s) operational needs and provides interim operational administrative support to assigned areas.
- Provides operational support for department(s) to streamline processes and coordinate effectively with departments and other parts of the institution.
- Develops, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Oversees daily tasks and operations necessary to accomplish department objectives and goals.
- Identifies and oversees the management of operational and quality issues and trends, analyzes subsequent data, facilitates stakeholder meeting to propose solutions to management for performance/process/quality improvement, maintains statistics and reports to leadership for performance improvement opportunities.
- Maintains quality service by enforcing quality standards. Analyses and resolves quality and service problems and recommends improvements.
- May supervise and manage special projects/programs as needed.
- May supervise, hire, train, provide work direction, and problem-solving assistance for employees within the department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
