- UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system, serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our Midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program, and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
- The Patient / Visitor Screener will provide hospital access screening with excellent customer service skills.
- Responsible for screening employees, visitors, patients and vendors who enter the facility.
- Hospital Access Screener will ask screening questions and accurately obtain temperatures.
- This individual will provide appropriate PPE.
- May be responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of customer service experience.
- Basic personal computer skills and comfort with the Microsoft Windows operating system; database and word processing skills.
