- UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 432 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
- Performs CT studies/ procedures for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease.
- Functions under the general supervision of the CT supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists.
- This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college
- Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 2 years as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Preferred
- CT Experience Preferred
